Part 1: Stretch My Art Brain!
Directions: Below is a Padlet activity you will complete with everyone in art this trimester! Your password for the Padlet is in Classroom and Seesaw.
- In there you will be introduced to sculpture and learn how to talk like an artist about the sculptures.
- You will have various "sticky note" type squares with an activity and a spot leave a comment with your response or thoughts.
- You may comment and continue the discussion with each other so long as you are using art words and respecting each others opinions and statements.
- There is nothing to do in Seesaw or Classroom for turning anything in- everything you post is proof you did Part 1 and gets graded.
Part 2: Project Making!
Directions: Follow those directions and the how to videos to create a wire/tin foil sculpture.
Materials:
- Pencil & Eraser
- Channel Sticks (formerly known as pipe cleaners) or craft wire, or thin twigs, the wire from a coffee bag, twist ties.. thin strips of cereal box cardboard..any or all...
- Aluminum Foil
- Crayons/Color pencils
